Patina Miller debut to Broadway was the cult-ish hit, Hair. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon and an art school student, she was one of the top picks for Effie White in Dreamgirl, the role Jennifer Hudson later was cast as. But now, the young actress has taken back to the stage as she is currently starring in the new Broadway show Sister Act, a role Whoopi Goldberg once made famous. Not bad.
